Role Overview

Sitevis is seeking an experienced Senior Network & Security Operations Engineer to provide operational support for a strategic customer environment. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise across the Fortinet security ecosystem, with particular strength in FortiGate, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. The role involves direct customer engagement, advanced troubleshooting, and the assessment, implementation and validation of standard and complex changes within live enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide operational support and advanced troubleshooting across enterprise Fortinet environments.
- Assess, plan, implement and validate firewall and network security changes in production environments.
- Work directly with customers during change assessments, implementation windows, troubleshooting and service restoration.
- Perform pre-change and post-change validation, document outcomes, and escalate risks or issues where required.
- Maintain and improve security posture through firmware upgrades, security patches, hardening activities and vendor-recommended workarounds.
- Support operational activities across multiple regions and time zones as part of a global service roster.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science,





Telecommunications, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of skilled experience in Network and Security Operations.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support, enterprise operations or managed services environment.
- Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate technical matters clearly to customers and internal teams.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Fortinet platforms: Hands-on administration and support experience with FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager and

FortiAnalyzer.
- Network and security fundamentals: Strong understanding of routing, Network Address Translation (NAT), firewall and security policies, VPN technologies and Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) architectures.
- Enterprise troubleshooting: Ability to investigate and resolve complex connectivity, routing, firewall and security issues in enterprise Fortinet environments.
- Change support: Experience conducting change assessments and supporting implementation, pre-validation and post-validation activities.
- Security maintenance: Experience addressing security vulnerabilities through firmware upgrades, patch deployment,

security hardening and vendor-recommended mitigations or workaroun
