About the Role Viable Outsource Solution is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Legal Associate – US Bankruptcy to join our growing US Legal team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in US Bankruptcy, particularly Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings, along with the ability to guide, supervise, and manage team members. This role requires strong knowledge of US bankruptcy procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to ensure smooth day-to-day team operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle US Bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings.
- Manage and review bankruptcy-related legal documentation, petitions, and case filings.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable US bankruptcy procedures.
- Lead, guide, and support team members in their daily activities.
- Allocate work, monitor team productivity, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.




- Review team members' work and maintain quality standards.
- Provide training, guidance, and process-related support to team members.
- Handle escalations and resolve process-related queries.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Meet defined productivity, quality, and turnaround time targets.

Qualifications

- Around 2 years of relevant experience in US Bankruptcy.
- Solid understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy processes.
- Previous experience in handling or reviewing bankruptcy-related legal documentation.
- Prior team-handling or team-coordination experience will be preferred.
- Ability to guide, motivate, and manage team members effectively.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a night-shift environment.
