About the Role

CSK Bio Consulting is looking for motivated and skilled Engineer / Technician Trainees and Experienced HVAC & Electrical Maintenance Professionals to join our facility maintenance team at the NIAB Research Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, and facility operations. The role involves operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and electrical systems within a research facility.

Freshers and experienced candidates with ITI, Diploma, or B.E./B.Tech qualifications are encouraged to apply. Candidates with relevant experience in HVAC operations, electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility management will be considered based on their qualifications, technical knowledge, and practical skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, electrical systems, and associated equipment.
- Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure uninterrupted performance of HVAC and electrical installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance of air conditioning, ventilation, and electrical distribution systems.
- Attend equipment breakdowns and restore systems to normal operation promptly.
- Monitor and maintain electrical panels, Motor Control Centres (MCCs), Distribution Boards (DBs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Perform routine inspections of motors, pumps, electrical wiring, sensors, and control panels.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, attendance records, and spare parts utilization records.




- Coordinate with facility management teams for planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operating procedures, and maintenance protocols.
- Assist senior engineers in the installation, commissioning, testing, and performance monitoring of HVAC and electrical systems.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance activities and maintain proper technical documentation.

Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducational Qualifications

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

- ITI: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), Electrician, Wireman, Fitter, or equivalent trade.
- Diploma: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
- B.E./B.Tech: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.

Experience Requirements

- ITI Candidates: 1–3 years of relevant experience in HVAC and/or electrical operation and maintenance preferred.
- Diploma Candidates: Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience may apply.
- B.E./B.Tech Candidates: Fresh engineering graduates and candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Experienced Professionals: Candidates with hands-on experience in HVAC operation and maintenance, electrical systems, equipment troubleshooting, and facility management are strongly encouraged to apply.

Relevant experience, practical technical knowledge, and troubleshooting skills will be considered when determining the appropriate role and salary.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Knowledge of Split AC, Package AC, Ductable Units, VRF/VRV Systems,



Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), chillers, and ventilation systems.
- Basic understanding of low-voltage (LT) electrical systems, electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, lighting, power distribution, and cable termination.
- Familiarity with electrical wiring, control panels, VFDs, motors, sensors, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Understanding of HVAC preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment servicing.
- Ability to identify faults and assist in the repair and restoration of HVAC and electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with institutional, laboratory, pharmaceutical, hospital, or commercial facility maintenance will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
