Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and mature professional to oversee plant-level Quality Assurance and ensure consistent product quality, food safety, and compliance with established standards. The candidate should have solid experience in food manufacturing, along with a good understanding of production, maintenance, dispatch, stock management, and general administration to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee overall plant Quality Assurance, food safety, hygiene, and compliance with applicable FSSAI requirements, GMP, GHP, and HACCP standards.

- Monitor raw material, in-process, and finished product quality and ensure adherence to product specifications and SOPs.

- Identify quality deviations, investigate root causes, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintain quality documentation, handle audits, and address customer complaints and product rejections.

- Have a sound understanding of production processes and the ability to monitor production activities, guide teams,



and ensure adherence to quality and operational procedures.

- Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment-related issues affecting production, hygiene, and quality.

- Oversee coordination with Stores and Dispatch for proper stock handling, traceability, finished goods quality, and timely dispatch.

- Handle routine plant administration and coordinate effectively with different departments to ensure smooth functioning.

- Report quality and operational issues to Management and drive continuous improvement.

Qualification & Experience

- B.Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Processing, or a relevant discipline.

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in the food manufacturing industry.

- Strong practical knowledge of plant quality systems, food safety, production processes, and manufacturing operations.

- Experience in powder premixes, food ingredients, nutritional products, or food processing will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- A hands-on, responsible, and mature professional with strong quality expertise and the ability to manage production teams authoritatively when required.

- Should have practical exposure to maintenance coordination, stock and dispatch management, and general plant administration.

- Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
