- Design and develop tractor transmission and driveline systems as per product and performance requirements.
- Work on the design and development of gearboxes, gear trains, shafts, axles, differential assemblies and power transmission components.
- Prepare 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, assembly drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Perform gear design calculations, shaft design calculations, bearing selection and component strength analysis.
- Ensure transmission system performance, durability, reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase and other R&D; teams.
- Support prototype development, assembly trials and transmission system validation.




- Analyze transmission and driveline failures and implement design improvements.
- Drive engineering changes, design optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
- Ensure design feasibility, manufacturability and compliance with engineering specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers for gear, shaft, bearing and other transmission component development.
- Support vehicle-level testing, field trials and troubleshooting of driveline-related issues.
- Maintain design documentation, technical specifications and engineering revision records.
