We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with robust hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, database architecture, performance optimization, and Python-based ETL development.
Key Responsibilities & Technical Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL on AWS RDS.
- Advanced SQL, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Database design, architecture, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Develop and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines and data migration solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Batch, and Amazon S3.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database and data engineering challenges.
- Exposure to AI/ML data processing workflows is preferred.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
- 9+ years of overall relevant IT experience.
- Strong hands-on PostgreSQL database development and optimization experience.
- Proven experience building Python-based ETL pipelines.
- Practical experience with AWS database and data engineering services.
- Strong understanding of large-scale data processing and database performance.
Important: We are looking for hands-on technical engineers, not candidates whose experience is limited to SQL reporting, production support, or basic ETL maintenance.
