Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to drive the development of our core POS backend services. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust API endpoints using .NET 8 and ensuring seamless integration with our Android and React frontends. This role requires a developer who writes clean, efficient code and understands the importance of non-blocking I/O in a real-time transaction environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable REST APIs using .NET 8 and C#, following best practices for asynchronous programming.
- Implement real-time features for Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) using SignalR, ensuring orders appear instantly in the kitchen.
- Build data access layers using Entity Framework Core or Dapper, focusing on query efficiency for multi-tenant data.
- Integrate third-party APIs such as Payment Gateways and e-Invoicing systems, handling errors and retries gracefully.




- Work closely with the frontend teams (Android & React) to integrate FCM push notifications for order updates.
- Write unit and integration tests using xUnit or NUnit to ensure reliability before deployment.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to SOLID principles, and performance standards.
- Debug and resolve production issues related to data synchronization and API latency.
- Manage database migrations and schema updates in PostgreSQL.

Required Technical Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and Async/Await patterns.
- Experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) and ORMs (EF Core).
- Familiarity with SignalR or real-time web technologies.
- Experience using Docker for local development.
- Understanding of Git version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with mobile and web developers.
