Incumbent Specification

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed. / ECCE / M.Ed.
- 3–7 years of experience in pre-primary or early years teaching
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Early Years Framework or international curricula preferred

Role Overview:
Calcutta International School invites passionate and experienced educators to join our Early Years faculty. The role involves nurturing foundational literacy, numeracy, and social skills through play-based, inquiry-led learning, ensuring every child enjoys a joyful and meaningful start to school life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Pre-Nursery to KG
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Use play, art, music, movement, and digital tools to enhance learning




- Track developmental milestones and support individual progress
- Collaborate with co-teachers and parents for holistic learning
- Participate in school events and career development programmes
