Job Description

Shantha Group of Institutions invites applications from experienced and dynamic academic leaders for the position of Principal – College of Allied Health Sciences.

The ideal candidate should have strong academic leadership, institutional administration and regulatory compliance experience, along with the ability to lead faculty members and develop academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the College of Allied Health Sciences.
- Lead faculty recruitment, development, mentoring and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory bodies, university guidelines and academic standards.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, examinations, academic planning and student development.
- Coordinate with university authorities, regulatory bodies and institutional management.
- Promote research, publications, seminars, workshops and academic collaborations.
- Monitor admissions,



student progression and institutional performance.
- Maintain effective coordination with management, faculty, students and parents.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Relevant postgraduate qualification in Allied Health Sciences or an appropriate related discipline.
- PhD and substantial academic experience preferred/required as per applicable regulatory and university norms.
- Minimum 10–12 years of relevant academic experience, including leadership or administrative responsibilities, subject to applicable norms.
- Strong knowledge of academic administration and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
