Senior Data Analyst

The role leads complex, large-scale analyses and data strategy initiatives, and mentors junior analysts.

Planned project duration : long-term (12 months+)

Requirements :

- Education : Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred
- Experience : 4 - 6 years as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role, including at least 1 - 2 years mentoring junior analysts or leading analysis workstreams on cross-functional projects
- Technical skills : advanced SQL (Presto / Hive, query optimization); Python (Pandas, SciPy / Statsmodels for statistical analysis); advanced BI-tool usage (e.g., calculated fields and LOD expressions in Tableau, custom Looker explores, DAX in Power BI)
- Domain / statistics :



solid grounding in experimentation design, causal inference concepts (e.g., panel data, propensity score matching) and predictive / ML modeling fundamentals; comfortable partnering with Data Science on model evaluation
- Leadership : demonstrated experience mentoring 1 - 3+ junior / intermediate analysts and managing relationships with senior (Director-level) stakeholders
- AI literacy : champions the use of AI tools (GPT-4, Gemini, Claude) to synthesize large volumes of data, surface trends, build semi-automated pipelines, and design AI-enhanced A/B test frameworks
- English : Upper-Intermediate or higher

Responsibilities :

- Design and lead large-scale analytics projects independently, aligning data / metric strategy across teams
- Develop and maintain self-operating, interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio)
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to support predictive analytics and machine learning initiatives
- Own strategic, cross-functional reporting and define KPI frameworks
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to maintain data consistency, privacy and security
