We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer with solid expertise in infrastructure handling of Azure API Management (APIM), cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and DevOps. This role requires deep hands-on experience managing API gateways, cloud networking, security integrations, infrastructure automation, and production support.

Relevant years : 9 yrs and above

Azure API Management (Primary Responsibility)

- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure API Management (APIM) environments.
- Implement API gateway policies for:
- Authentication and Authorization Traffic Routing
- Rate Limiting Header Manipulation
- Throttling Request/Response Transformation
- Publish, secure, and monitor enterprise APIs.
- Configure products, subscriptions, developer portals, and API lifecycle management.
- Support API versioning, revisions, and release management.
- Troubleshoot API connectivity, latency, performance, and backend integration issues.

Governance

- Implement API security using:
- OAuth 2.0 JWT Validation APIM Policies
- OpenID Connect Certificates API Products & Subscriptions
- Azure AD / Entra ID Managed Identity API Revisions & Versioning
- Self-Hosted Gateway Backend Service Integration
