Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Conduct physical assessments of patients to identify mobility limitations, functional difficulties and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical recommendations.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, balance and coordination training.
- Deliver appropriate rehabilitation interventions for patients with neurological, orthopaedic and physical disabilities.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, posture, gait, muscle strength and functional independence.
- Provide gait training, transfer training and mobility assistance using appropriate rehabilitation equipment.
- Implement rehabilitation programmes for patients with stroke, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans based on their recovery and functional improvements.




- Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programmes, positioning, mobility and preventive care.
- Maintain proper patient assessment records, treatment notes, progress reports and other clinical documentation.
- Ensure the safe and effective use of physiotherapy equipment and rehabilitation aids.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, rehabilitation reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Follow infection control protocols, patient safety standards and institutional policies.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned duties and maintain skilled and ethical standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognised institution.
