Job description:

Laxmi And Associates is a professional services firm offering financial and accounting advisory, income tax return filing, internal audit, bookkeeping, payroll processing, secretarial compliance, and tax and financial planning. We are looking for a Paid Assistant to join our team in Mohali.

Role Details:

- Position: Paid Assistant
- Type: Full-time, on-site
- Location: Mohali, Punjab

Key Responsibilities:

- Bookkeeping, ledger posting and voucher verification
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
- Working on Income Tax Returns, GST and other statutory compliances
- Supporting internal audits, documentation and working papers
- Payroll processing, data entry and reconciliations
- Coordinating with senior team members and contributing to tax advisory and compliance assignments

Requirements:

- Strong foundation in accounting and finance (bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, basic financial statements)




- Working knowledge of Income Tax, GST and TDS, and familiarity with return filing procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally (or similar)
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication, teamwork and time management
