:

- Perform design analysis using Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) software.

- Develop engineering designs with minimal supervision.

- Understand customer basic requirements and expectations for current product design and improved designs.

- Develop alternative design solutions or quick engineering solutions for complex problems.

- Maintain records of all activities and results in CAE project database.

- Participate in design review meetings to provide appropriate recommendations.

- Communicate with team members and guide the junior engineers.

- Provide timely design guidance and support to team to meet customer requirements.

- Assist management in establishing and updating project plans and priorities.

- Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.

Roles& Responsibilities:

- Ability to perform Linear and Non-Linear FE Analysis. Dynamic analysis, fatigue/vibration knowledge is advantageous.

- Develop FEA modeling processes according OLEO processes and mentoring for junior design engineers.

- Coordinate with Design Engineering team to create FEA models.

- Perform hand calculations and Finite Element models that accurately simulate loading conditions.





- Develop alternative design solutions or quick engineering solutions for complex problems.

- Analyze and review design of welded and/or cast structural system and components ensuring conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

- Review, support and provide the technical guidance to the junior engineers in generating the accurate mesh for the simulations.

- Perform Design Failure Mode reviews (D-FMEA), coordinate with other engineers and arrive Development verification planning and reviews (DVPR)

- Identify & advise Engineers on product manufacturing and performance issues

- Assist the senior engineers to Extract, process & analyse raw test data and manipulate as required to support wider engineering teams

- Define & work in accordance with Engineering procedures

- Prepare / review and issue concise and accurate analysis reports

Relationships

- Work closely with other Engineering, Analysis and Development personnel both locally and globally.

- Interact with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Customer facing staff as required.
