Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Event Management (EM) Consultant with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP EM configuration, implementation, and integration with SAP Transportation Management (TM), SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in supply chain visibility, event tracking, milestone monitoring, and exception handling.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Design & Configuration: Configure expected and unexpected events, event handlers, and rule sets within SAP Event Management (SAP EM) in integration with SAP TM and SAP ECC.

- System Integration: Integrate SAP EM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Transportation Management (TM), and SAP ECC using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and SAP BTP.

- Event & Milestone Tracking: Monitor end-to-end transportation processes and track real-time operational events against predefined milestones and benchmarks.

- Exception Management: Identify, monitor, and resolve unexpected events, delays, and transportation exceptions.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and technical teams to improve transportation visibility and operational efficiency.

- Reporting: Utilize standard SAP EM reporting tools to provide event tracking, milestone status, and exception reports.

- Testing & Support:



Prepare functional specifications, execute test cases, troubleshoot integration and interface issues, and provide production and go-live support.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Event Management (SAP EM).

- Robust knowledge of SAP EM configuration, event handlers, expected events, unexpected events, and rule sets.

- Experience integrating SAP EM with SAP TM, SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA.

- Good understanding of SAP integration technologies, including:
- IDocs

- RFCs

- BAPIs

- SAP BTP

- Strong understanding of supply chain visibility and transportation processes.

- Experience in milestone tracking, event monitoring, and exception handling.

- Ability to prepare functional specifications and support testing activities.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in SAP TM and logistics execution processes.

- Exposure to end-to-end transportation lifecycle management.

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and implementation projects.

- Experience in SAP EM production support and go-live activities.
