Role Summary

We are looking for a senior SAP consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP BW (BW on HANA / BW/4HANA), SAP APO (Demand Planning and Supply Network Planning), and SAP BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP). You will design, build, and support end-to-end analytics and planning solutions that connect supply chain planning with enterprise reporting.

Good to have experience in SAP Datasphere and SAC.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement BW data models: InfoObjects, DSOs/ADSOs, CompositeProviders, InfoCubes, and MultiProviders.
- Build and optimize ETL/data flows, including transformations, DTPs, process chains, and extraction from SAP and non-SAP sources (S/4HANA, ECC, APO, flat files, DB connections).
- Develop and enhance BW-IP planning solutions: planning functions, planning sequences, filters, aggregation levels, and planning-enabled queries.
- Configure and support APO modules, mainly Demand Planning (DP) and Supply Network Planning (SNP), including planning books, macros, forecast profiles, and the CIF integration.
- Integrate APO and BW so that planning data flows to reporting and reporting feeds back into planning.
- Build and tune BEx queries, Analysis for Office workbooks, and BW reporting layers.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Handle performance tuning, data reconciliation, and root-cause analysis for load and planning issues.




- Provide L2/L3 production support, manage incidents and change requests, and work within release and transport management.
- Support migration or modernization initiatives (BW to BW/4HANA, APO to IBP / S/4HANA) and document solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and run knowledge-transfer sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 6+ years of SAP BW experience, with at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience in BW-IP (planning functions, planning sequences, and aggregation levels).
- Solid APO experience in DP and SNP, including planning book design, macros, and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency in ABAP for BW (transformation routines, user exits, and enhancements).
- Experience with SAP HANA modeling and BW on HANA / BW/4HANA.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes: demand forecasting, S&OP;, supply planning, inventory, and procurement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP BPC, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (planning), or SAP IBP.
- Exposure to S/4HANA embedded analytics and CDS views.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum, and with tools such as Solution Manager or Jira.
- SAP certifications in BW/4HANA, APO, or SCM.
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, FMCG, pharma, or retail.
