Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator

Salary: ₹15000– ₹22000 per month (depending on experience)
Experience: 0–3 years of CNC lathe operation
Time: 8:30 am to 8:30 pm Day shift
8:30 pm to 6:30 am Night Shift

About Us
NPD Engineering is a CNC and conventional machining company in Vasai East. We do job work for manufacturers and make components as per customer drawings, in steel, stainless steel, brass and other materials. We run CNC lathes with a bar capacity of up to 50 mm bore (Super Jobber and Elite 300).
Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC lathes to make turned components as per drawing
- Load tools, set offsets and run first-piece checks
- Measure parts with vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, thread gauges and similar instruments
- Maintain size and surface finish during production




- Edit or optimise simple programs if you are able to
- Keep the machine and work area clean and safe
- Inform the supervisor about tool wear, rejections or any problem in the job

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Turner / Machinist trade (or equivalent experience)
- Experience on CNC lathes (Fanuc / Siemens / similar control)
- Able to read basic engineering drawings
- Knows how to use measuring instruments and tool offsets
- Experience with turning, boring, threading and grooving
- Able to work in shifts if needed

Valuable to have

- Knowledge of G-code and M-code
- Experience with stainless steel, EN8 and MS components
- Basic idea of tolerances and surface finish
