1. Job Purpose

To ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, monitoring workplace hazards, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting safety awareness among employees and contract workers.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the plant, machinery, and work areas.
- Identify potential hazards and assess workplace risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety laws and statutory requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs.
- Monitor the use of PPE by employees and contract workers.
- Ensure safety compliance during hot work, height work, confined space work, and other hazardous activities.
- Conduct accident and near-miss investigations and prepare corrective action reports.
- Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, incident reports, and safety documentation.
- Monitor fire safety equipment, fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and evacuation routes.
- Coordinate mock drills and emergency preparedness activities.




- Ensure safe operation of machines and adherence to LOTO procedures.
- Monitor contractor safety and ensure compliance with plant safety rules.
- Support ISO 45001 / EHS audits and ensure closure of audit observations.
- Coordinate with HR, Admin, Production, Maintenance, and other departments for safety-related activities.
- Promote 5S, housekeeping, and a safe working culture throughout the plant.

1. Qualification & Skills

- Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial plant safety preferred.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, PPE, fire safety, and emergency management.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, and safety documentation).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
