Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Safety Officer to ensure a safe and healthy working workplace. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, identifying workplace hazards, and promoting safety awareness among employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain health and safety standards at the workplace.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure employees follow safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Assist in preparing safety reports and maintaining safety documentation.
- Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions to management.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Support emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures.
- Coordinate with site teams and management to improve workplace safety.
- Maintain records related to safety inspections, training, and incidents.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
- Understanding of PPE and basic safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify hazards and take appropriate action.
- Basic knowledge of safety documentation and reporting.
- Knowledge of fire safety and emergency procedures is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in any relevant field.
- Safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or Diploma in Industrial Safety will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Freshers: Can apply; training and learning opportunities available.
- Experienced Candidates: Relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or other safety-related environments will be preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
