About the Role:

Lifecare Diagnostics is looking for a proactive, disciplined, and 100% hands-on Desktop & Hardware Support Executive.

This is an active field and physical troubleshooting role — not a remote or desk-bound coordinator job. You will be directly responsible for disassembling, cleaning, assembling, upgrading, and maintaining desktop workstations, printers, barcode scanners, and local networking across our diagnostic centers in Mumbai.

You will report directly to the IT Manager and follow standard operating procedures with high discipline and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:1. Computer Hardware & Endpoint Maintenance:

- Hands-on maintenance of All-in-One (AIO) PCs, assembled desktop towers, and laptops (component replacement, thermal paste application, RAM/SSD upgrades, and SMPS power supply replacement).
- Clean operating system installations (Windows 10/11 Pro), bootable USB creation, driver updates, and basic endpoint security setup.
- Physical preventive maintenance (dust cleanup, internal cable management, and hardware health checks).

2. Printers, Barcode Scanners & Peripherals:

- Installation, driver configuration, and network sharing for laser printers (HP, Samsung, Canon) and thermal barcode printers (TVS, TSC).
- Routine toner cartridge replacement, paper jam clearance, and print-head maintenance.

3. LAN Cabling & Basic Networking:

- Physical Ethernet cabling (Cat6 cable pulling, RJ45 crimping, I/O keystone punch-down, and patch cord testing).
- Verifying local connectivity,



tracing switch ports, and power cycling Wi-Fi Access Points and branch routers.

4. Day-to-Day User Support (L1):

- Assisting front-desk, lab technicians, accounts, and doctors with basic desktop issues.
- Configuring Google Workspace / Microsoft Outlook email clients and resolving browser cache/session issues.
- Submitting daily End-of-Day (EOD) physical asset and task completion reports to the IT Manager.

Required Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 1 to 3 years of solid, practical hands-on experience in computer hardware, desktop assembly/repair, and LAN networking (Experience in clinics, diagnostic chains, hospitals, or hardware AMC service providers is preferred).
- Education: Diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking (Jetking, Rooman, ITI, or equivalent) / B.Sc. IT / BCA / Any Graduate with genuine hardware workshop experience.
- Language Proficiency: Basic operational English (reading/writing emails and software prompts) + Fluent conversational Hindi/Hinglish (for seamless communication with clinic staff).
- Behavioral Traits:
- Zero Ego & Field-Ready: No hesitation to physically open computer cases, crawl under desks for cable routing, or visit local branches with a toolkit.
- Disciplined & Teachable: Ability to listen attentively, follow supervisor instructions without backtalk, and respect clinic protocols.
