Job Summary-

We are looking for a creative and experienced Furniture Designer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to develop innovative, functional and aesthetically appealing furniture designs. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of furniture design, materials, manufacturing processes and design development.

The ideal candidate should be capable of converting concepts and client requirements into practical furniture designs while ensuring quality, functionality and production feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop creative and functional furniture concepts and designs.

- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models and technical drawings.

- Create furniture layouts, design specifications and working drawings.

- Select appropriate materials, finishes, hardware and accessories.

- Coordinate with production teams to ensure design feasibility.

- Understand and incorporate client requirements into designs.

- Modify and improve designs based on feedback.

- Ensure accuracy in dimensions, measurements and specifications.

- Stay updated with furniture design trends, materials and technologies.

- Maintain proper design documentation and project files.





Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture designing.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or relevant design software.

- Strong knowledge of furniture materials and manufacturing techniques.

- Ability to prepare detailed technical and working drawings.

- Strong visualization and creative skills.

- Valuable communication and coordination abilities.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Education:

- Diploma or degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Architecture or a related field preferred.

- Relevant practical design experience will also be considered.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of relevant furniture design experience.

Preferred Candidate Profile-

The ideal candidate should be creative, technically sound and detail-oriented, with the ability to independently handle furniture design assignments, prepare accurate drawings and coordinate with production teams.
