Travel: 1-2 Plants a month

Purpose of the job:

To drive financial performance and governance by ensuring accurate sales reporting, effective financial planning & analysis, robust control mechanisms, and strategic business partnering. The role also focuses on improving processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision-making through actionable insights.

A. Financial Reporting & MIS

- Ensure integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of Sales Reporting data through robust controls and processes.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to business unit queries.

B. Financial Control & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to risk management frameworks and internal control policies; escalate discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with corporate policies and reporting standards.
- Coordinate monthly financial closing processes ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.

C. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

- Conduct variance analysis across P&L; lines (actuals vs. budget, forecast, prior year) with customer and brand-level insights.
- Monitor and control Sales and Contribution Margin (CM) against targets.
- Support and coordinate Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation.
- Drive quarterly forecasting and corporate planning exercises.

D. Business Partnering

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and decision support.




- Enable proactive actions through data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.

E. Process Improvement

- Identify and implement process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
- Enhance reporting frameworks and automation for better turnaround time.

F. Team Management & Talent Development

- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Build a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals.

- Timeliness and accuracy of MIS and reporting
- Variance analysis quality and actionable insights
- Adherence to closing timelines
- Control and compliance effectiveness (audit findings, error rates)
- Forecast accuracy vs. actual performance
- Contribution Margin (CM) achievement vs. targets

4. Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
- Experience: ~10 years in Finance / FP&A; / Business Finance roles

- Knowledge of financial controls and compliance frameworks
