Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa is seeking a responsible and compassionate Warden to oversee the well-being and safety of our residents in our girls' hostel. We are committed to providing a secure and supportive environment for our students/residents.
Role Summary:
The Warden will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the girls' hostel, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and conducive living environment. The ideal candidate will possess robust interpersonal skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a genuine concern for the welfare of young women.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Security:
- Maintain a secure and safe environment within the hostel premises.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations, ensuring discipline and order.
- Conduct regular rounds and inspections of the hostel.
- Manage visitor access and maintain accurate records.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and handle any security-related issues.
- Resident Welfare:
- Provide guidance and support to residents, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Address resident concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Act as a point of contact for residents and their parents/guardians.
- Organize and supervise recreational activities and events.
- Ensure the residents are following the hostels set timings for entry and exit.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of resident attendance, leave, and other relevant information.
- Manage hostel inventory and ensure proper maintenance of facilities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Handle administrative tasks related to resident admissions and departures.
- Manage the hostel mess, and ensure the food is of good quality.
- Counseling and Mentoring:
- Provide a listening ear and offer guidance to residents facing personal or academic challenges.
- Foster a sense of community and encourage positive interactions among residents.
- Be able to identify and report any concerning behaviors.
- Emergency Response:
- Be trained in basic first aid.
- Be able to implement emergency procedures.
- Maintain a list of emergency contact numbers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
