: Quality Assurance Executive – Food Testing Laboratory

Role Summary

We are looking for a QA professional to maintain and strengthen the quality management system of our food testing laboratory. You will ensure that testing is accurate, traceable and compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 (NABL), FSSAI and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain the laboratory Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL guidelines.
- Prepare, review and control SOPs, quality manuals, formats, work instructions and records.
- Plan and conduct internal audits, track non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate NABL, FSSAI and customer audits, including documentation and closure of audit findings.
- Manage proficiency testing (PT) and inter-laboratory comparison programs and analyse the results.
- Monitor method validation and verification, measurement uncertainty, and internal quality control (IQC) data.
- Oversee equipment calibration, maintenance schedules and reference standard/material control.
- Review test reports and raw data for accuracy,



compliance and traceability before release.
- Handle customer complaints, deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) investigations.
- Ensure document control, sample traceability, data integrity and lab safety practices.
- Train lab staff on QMS requirements, GLP and regulatory updates.
- Conduct management review meetings and prepare quality MIS reports.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- M.Sc. in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or a related field (B.Tech Food Technology may also be considered).
- 5–7 years of experience in QA/QC in a NABL-accredited food testing lab.
- Solid knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, FSSAI regulations, and food testing parameters (chemical, microbiological, instrumental).
- Hands-on experience with internal audits, CAPA, PT and uncertainty calculations.
- Good documentation, analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and LIMS.

Valuable to Have
- Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification for ISO 17025.
- Exposure to HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, AAS/ICP-MS or microbiology testing.
- Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000 and export-related requirements.

Pay: ₹408,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
