- We are looking for a passionate and skilled Automation Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for modern web and API applications.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong programming skills, hands-on experience with automation frameworks, and a quality-first mindset.
- You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software through continuous testing and automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.

- Review functional requirements and identify automation opportunities.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to improving automation framework quality.
- Enhance framework stability, execution speed, reporting, and maintainability.
- Maintain automation documentation, test execution reports, and quality metrics.
- Develop automated test scripts for Web UI, REST APIs, and end-to-end business workflows.
- Create robust, maintainable, and reusable test cases following industry best practices.




- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End test suites.
- Analyze automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with development teams for timely defect resolution.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with emerging automation tools, AI technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

- Solid hands-on experience in Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience in UI automation and REST API testing. Hands-on experience with Playwright API, Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Knowledge of automation framework development, including Page Object Model (POM), fixtures and reusable utilities.
- Experience in test automation for Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration and End to-End testing.
- Knowledge of API authentication methods: OAuth, JWT and API Keys.
- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge and database validation.
- Experience with automation reporting tools such as Playwright Reports, Allure or HTML Reports.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI or Chatgpt
