Department: Quality Control - Machine Shop Reports To: Quality Head / Plant Head

Job Purpose To ensure CNC/VMC components meet drawings, tolerances, and customer quality requirements through inspection, CMM report verification, PPAP, and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming materials, first-off, in-process, and finished machined components.
- Use vernier calipers, micrometers, bore/height gauges, dial gauges, and other precision instruments.
- Interpret drawings, GDT, customer specifications, and inspection plans.
- Verify CMM reports against drawings, GDT, and customer requirements.
- Conduct first-piece approval and periodic CNC/VMC inspection.
- Prepare PPAP, dimensional reports, control plans, FMEA inputs, process flow documents, and required quality records.
- Prepare/verify sample inspection reports, material test reports, and customer-specific documents as applicable.




- Handle and store instruments properly; monitor calibration status and records.
- Raise non-conformance reports and coordinate corrective actions with Production.
- Support root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and rejection reduction.
- Maintain traceability, inspection records, and document revision control.
- Support NPD trials, sample inspection, PPAP submission, and customer audits.
- Maintain independent inspection and product-release authority.

Qualifications Experience Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Experience: 3-5 years in quality control and inspection of CNC/VMC machined components.

Key Skills: GDT, CMM report verification, PPAP, dimensional inspection, instrument handling, calibration, root-cause analysis.
