Experience band: 4–7 years
Proves the gateway works, fails safely and holds under load. Responsibilities
- Builds API and contract test automation, negative and security-adjacent tests, load and failover tests; supports DR testing
- Builds test corpora for guardrail effectiveness and a regression suite for gateway upgrades
- Supports the client’s UAT and the platform vendor’s integration testing
Must have
- 4+ years in test automation (Python or JavaScript)
- REST/API testing, k6 or JMeter or similar, CI integration
- Kubernetes basics
Nice to have
- Testing streaming APIs
- Testing LLM-based applications
