Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and people-oriented QA Team Lead with a strong background in the financial services domain. In this role, you will take full ownership of the quality assurance delivery for our critical financial platforms, focusing heavily on Loan Origination Systems (LOS). You will balance technical leadershipdriving robust test automation frameworks and architectural QA strategieswith team management, guiding a mix of manual and automation engineers.

You will collaborate directly with cross-functional leaders to ensure our lending platforms meet strict standards for security, speed, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- QA Strategy, Governance & Delivery: Define, implement, and govern the comprehensive QA strategy for web, mobile, and complex core banking systems. Establish KPIs, test metrics, and quality gates for release management.
- Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and resource-manage a hybrid team of QA engineers (manual and automation). Conduct performance evaluations, manage sprint allocations, and technical upskilling plans.
- Automation Framework Stewardship: Oversee the architectural design, scaling, and maintenance of test automation frameworks. Ensure standard design patterns are followed to reduce maintenance overhead and maximize script reusability.
- End-to-End LOS Delivery: Manage testing deliverables for sophisticated Loan Origination System workflows, including credit decisioning engines, risk mitigation logic, complex amortization calculations, underwriting rules, and multi-party integrations.
- Release & Environment Management: Coordinate with DevOps teams to integrate test automation suites into CI/CD pipelines. Strategize the creation, masking,



and governance of synthetic financial test data across non-production environments.
- Cross-functional Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary QA point of contact for Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Development Leads. Translate complex business lending logic into structured verification plans.
- Security, Audit & Compliance Compliance: Partner with security and audit teams to ensure testing procedures align with strict financial data privacy standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and local banking authority guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 8 to 12+ years of dedicated QA experience, with at least 2+ years leading or managing QA teams in a banking or fintech ecosystem.
- Domain Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Loan Origination Systems (LOS), credit bureau integrations, lending workflows, or core retail/commercial banking platforms.
- Technical Supervision: Robust hands-on background in test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) and languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript) to conduct code reviews and architecturally guide the team.
- CI/CD & Infrastructure: Practical experience overseeing test integration in DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Advanced Database Proficiency: High proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (joins, subqueries, stored procedures) to validate backend transaction ledgers and financial logs.
- Agile Management: Advanced mastery of Agile/Scrum methodologies, test management tooling (Jira, Xray, or Zephyr), and managing sprint capacity.

Preferred Certifications & Qualifications

- ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Manager or Test Automation Engineer).
- Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Cloud Architecture Certifications (AWS Certified Developer/Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
