Hiring: Purchase Engineer

Industry: Industrial Manufacturing / Heavy Machinery

Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad

Experience: Minimum 2 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification

Key Responsibilities

- Handle procurement of technical materials, components, and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.
- Compare quotations and assist in vendor selection.
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Quality departments.
- Develop alternate vendors and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Resolve supplier-related quality, delivery, and invoice issues.




- Maintain purchase records and procurement documentation.

Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of purchase and procurement in manufacturing.
- Ability to understand BOMs and technical drawings.
- Valuable supplier coordination and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Cost-conscious and detail-oriented approach.

Industry Preference: Heavy Machinery / Industrial Manufacturing. - (phone hidden) Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
