We are hiring a hands-on, non-IT Recruitment Specialist who can research, map, source, assess and recommend candidates independently. This role is for recruiters with commercial and operational hiring experience. It is not suitable for recruiters whose background is mainly IT or technology hiring.

About the Role

You will manage specialist and professional hiring assignments end to end, from understanding the client's business through to a clear, evidence-based candidate recommendation.

Key Responsibilities

- Take requirement intake and understand the client's business, industry and hiring need before starting the search

- Separate must-have requirements from preferred criteria

- Research unfamiliar markets, build target-company lists and map competitors and talent pools

- Source active and passive candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, databases and direct outreach

- Use Boolean search and targeted headhunting techniques

- Conduct structured screening interviews

- Assess candidates on evidence: achievements, responsibilities, industry relevance and motivation, not keywords alone





- Qualify salary expectations, notice periods and availability

- Prepare clear candidate summaries and recommendations

- Maintain accurate pipelines and consistent follow-up across multiple mandates

What We Are Looking For

- 2+ years of hands-on recruitment experience (preferred)

- Proven non-IT recruitment experience, ideally in the industries listed above

- Strong sourcing and headhunting capability, including Naukri and LinkedIn direct sourcing

- Working knowledge of Boolean search

- Ability to research industries and organisations independently

- Strong spoken and written English

- Comfortable working remotely and managing assignments independently

Strongly preferred: experience at a specialist recruitment agency, executive search firm or RPO serving these sectors, and GCC / Middle East recruitment exposure.

This Role Is Not a Fit If

- Your recruitment experience is mostly IT / software (Java, .NET, SAP, Oracle, cloud, data, cybersecurity)

- Your experience is mainly bulk hiring without direct sourcing or assessment

- Your approach relies primarily on job postings and inbound applications
