Designation: Science Lab Teacher / Laboratory In-Charge

Roles & Responsibilities

- To organise and conduct science practical activities as per the prescribed curriculum.
- To prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, apparatus, chemicals and other materials.
- To assist subject teachers and students during practical sessions.
- To ensure proper functioning, cleanliness and maintenance of the science laboratory.
- To strictly follow laboratory safety rules and ensure students' safety during experiments.
- To maintain laboratory stock registers, issue registers and other relevant records.
- To ensure proper storage, handling and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials.
- To demonstrate scientific experiments and practical concepts effectively.




- To check and maintain laboratory equipment regularly and report any damage or shortage.
- To ensure discipline and proper behaviour of students inside the laboratory.
- To arrange practical materials and resources before scheduled laboratory sessions.
- To perform any other duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.

Reporting Authority: Principal / Science HOD / Academic Coordinator.

Primary Objective: To provide a protected, well-organised and effective laboratory environment that promotes practical learning, scientific curiosity and hands-on experience among students.
