IT Trainer – DDU-GKY Skill Development ProjectJob Overview

We are looking for a qualified and experienced IT Trainer for our DDU-GKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana) Skill Development Project.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing computer education, digital literacy, practical IT training, and employability skills to candidates enrolled in the skill development program. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to conduct effective classroom and practical training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily classroom and computer lab training sessions.
- Teach Computer Fundamentals, Basic Computer Operations, and Digital Literacy.
- Provide practical training in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Office.
- Train students in Internet usage, Email handling, online applications, and file management.
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, and training materials.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluate students' learning progress.
- Maintain daily attendance, student performance records, and training MIS.
- Support students in resume preparation, interview skills, and workplace communication.
- Guide students in developing basic computer and professional skills for employment.
- Follow the DDU-GKY curriculum, training standards, and project guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Center Manager and project team.
- Maintain training documentation and support compliance requirements.

Educational Qualifications

- Minimum Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. IT, B.Tech, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Relevant computer education qualifications or certifications will be preferred.




- Applicable domain certification, NCVT/SSC alignment, or Training of Trainers (ToT) certification as required by the project.

Experience Required

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in IT Training, Computer Education, Vocational Training, or Skill Development.
- Experience in DDU-GKY, NSDC, Skill India, PMKVY, or other government skill development projects will be preferred.
- Freshers may be considered only if permitted under the applicable project trainer eligibility criteria.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of Computer Fundamentals and MS Office.
- Good understanding of Internet, Email, and Digital Literacy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong teaching and classroom management abilities.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain student records and training documentation.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in government-funded skill development projects.
- Knowledge of training MIS and student assessment procedures.
- Familiarity with placement readiness and employability skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the training center team.
