About the Role.
Kickass Media is looking for a Junior Video Editor / Videographer to join our team full-time in Bengaluru. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone early in their video journey who wants to grow fast in a hands-on production setting. You'll support content creation across two exciting verticals: Food & Beverage (F&B;) brand content and Music Pandit student performance videos.
If you're passionate about Reels and Shorts, eager to learn, and ready to sharpen your craft on real projects, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do?
DaVinci Resolve: Familiarity is a plus, but not essential. If you're not there yet, the selected candidate will be trained on DaVinci Resolve as part of onboarding — what matters most is the willingness to learn and grow.
What We're Looking For?
1. Assist in shooting short-form video content on-site for F&B; brands and Music Pandit student performances
2. Edit short-form videos — cuts, pacing, transitions, and basic color grading — in DaVinci Resolve
3. Help source and integrate sound effects (SFX) and sync music to visuals
4. Support the creative / marketing team in bringing content ideas to life for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more
5. Organize footage, manage backups,
and maintain project files
6. Keep up with short-form content trends and bring fresh ideas to the table
7. Turn around edits within publishing timelines, with support from senior team members
8. Basic familiarity with any video editing software (DaVinci Resolve preferred — training provided if you're new to it)
9. A developing eye for pacing, rhythm, and trends specific to short-form / social content
10. Eagerness to learn, take direction, and act on feedback
11. Ability to stay organized while managing multiple small tasks across a week.
