EHS OFFICER

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced EHS Officer to ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and implementation of health and safety standards across plant operations. The candidate will be responsible for conducting safety audits, identifying workplace hazards, ensuring statutory compliance, and promoting a safe working workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws, statutory requirements, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification, and workplace audits.
- Implement and maintain ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
- Monitor proper usage of PPE, safety signage, barricading, and other safety measures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety induction, refresher training, toolbox talks, fire drills, and emergency mock drills.
- Maintain EHS documentation, statutory registers, safety records, and audit reports.




- Conduct regular 5S audits and coordinate corrective actions with concerned departments.
- Monitor workplace hygiene, drinking water quality, first-aid facilities, and occupational health requirements.
- Ensure machine safety, electrical safety, LOTO practices, and proper maintenance of safety equipment.
- Prepare HIRA, risk assessment reports, and environmental aspect-impact registers.
- Monitor waste management, air emissions, effluent discharge, and other environmental compliance activities.
- Coordinate safety committee meetings and prepare monthly EHS performance reports.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
- Understanding of EHS statutory compliance and industrial safety practices.
- Experience in safety audits, WCP activities, and risk assessment methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with different departments and ensure safety compliance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
