We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work on an AI-enabled automation platform for the automotive finance industry. The role requires a strong combination of business analysis, financial services/auto-finance domain knowledge, Agile delivery, technical understanding, and client communication.The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product management, engineering, QA, AI/ML teams, and clients, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities





- Engage with business/client stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes,

pain points, and requirements.
- Analyze AS-IS and TO-BE processes, identify gaps, business rules, exceptions, dependencies, and automation opportunities.
- Create and maintain BRDs, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Convert business requirements into detailed, development- and QA-ready Jira stories.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, UAT, and release activities.
- Work closely with developers, QA, Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and AI/ML teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.
- Support business processes related to auto finance, lending, loan servicing, collections, delinquency, loss mitigation, repossession, lienholders, and client-specific workflows.
- Identify opportunities for AI, workflow automation, and process optimization, and define functional requirements for automated solutions.
- Understand application workflows, data flows, integrations, and client/system interfaces.
- Work with technical teams on REST API integrations, data mapping, JSON/XML structures, and database-related requirements.
- Use SQL for basic data analysis and requirement validation.
- Support QA with requirement clarification, test scenario reviews, defect analysis, and UAT.
- Participate in production validation and post-release requirement/functional analysis.




- Maintain requirement traceability and ensure business requirements are accurately delivered.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner in software or product development.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in Auto Finance, Lending, Financial Services, Banking, Loan Servicing, Collections, or Loss Mitigation.
- Understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, data mapping, relational databases, and SQL.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work directly with US/client stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear specifications for technical and QA teams.

Good to Have

- Experience in automotive finance/auto lending, particularly US-based processes.
- Experience with loss mitigation, collections, repossession, or lienholder processes.
- Experience working with AI/ML-enabled applications or intelligent process automation.
- Knowledge of Postman/API testing, Microsoft SQL Server, GitHub, CI/CD, and software release processes.
- BA certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
