Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager to own product discovery, roadmap development and execution for payroll and compliance features. You will work closely with engineering, leadership, support teams, founders and CPAs to build scalable, customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Own product discovery, feature prioritization, roadmap planning and execution.
- Translate complex payroll and compliance requirements into scalable product workflows.
- Create PRDs, user flows, edge cases and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-quality product features.
- Work with customers, founders, CPAs and internal teams to identify pain points and improve product experience.
- Ensure compliance requirements are addressed proactively and workflows remain reliable as regulations evolve.





Required Qualifications

- 5–10 years of Product Management experience.
- Hands-on experience with US payroll products.
- Strong understanding of US payroll compliance at the federal level and in at least one state.
- Experience designing and delivering complex, compliance-driven features.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- A high-ownership mindset and ability to work in a quick-paced, founder-led environment.

Good to Have

- Experience working with CPAs, payroll bureaus or compliance teams.
- Background in fintech, HRTech or payroll SaaS.
- Startup experience or experience building products from 0 to 1.
