Job Description – Data Entry Operator

Location: CHENNAI

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Entry Operator to support warehouse operations for a leading consumer appliances company. The role will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry of warehouse transactions in WMS/SAP, maintaining records, and supporting inventory and material movement activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

- - Enter and update warehouse transactions accurately in WMS/SAP.
- Record inward/receiving of raw materials and ensure system entries are completed on time.
- Update material storage, movement, transfer, and issue of transactions in the system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system data matches warehouse documents.
- Prepare and maintain daily warehouse reports and records.




- Verify documents and data before entering transactions into WMS/SAP.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors for missing or incorrect information.
- Support inventory reconciliation and identify data discrepancies.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of warehouse transactions.
- Follow company and client procedures for data entry and documentation.
- Report system or data-related issues to the concerned manager.

Requirements

- - 1+ years of experience in data entry
- Hands-on experience with WMS/SAP is mandatory.
- Positive typing speed with high accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
