: Primary Science Teacher

We are looking for a very good experienced primary science teacher for one of our client schools located in Dilsuknagar, Hyderabad.

Job Summary A Primary Science Teacher introduces young students (typically Grades 1–5 or ages 6–11) to foundational scientific concepts through interactive, hands-on, and curiosity-driven learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Lesson Planning & Delivery: Develop and execute age-appropriate science lesson plans aligned with school or board curricula (such as CBSE or state standards).
- Hands-On Learning & Experiments: Conduct simple, safe classroom science experiments, demonstrations, and activity-based projects to foster active participation.
- Curiosity & Critical Thinking: Encourage young learners to ask questions, make observations, and develop basic scientific inquiry skills (e.g., predicting, testing, and discussing results).
- Assessment & Progress Tracking: Monitor student growth through quizzes, class participation, and practical tasks; record results and write periodic student reports.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment with transparent rules of behavior.
- Parent & Staff Communication: Update parents regularly on student development during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and collaborate with fellow educators.
- Extracurricular Support: Help organize science fairs, exhibitions, or outdoor nature/field trips.

Required Qualifications

- Education:




- Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.) or a related field.
- Professional teaching qualification such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), D.El.Ed, or D.Ed. (depending on regional or school board guidelines).
- Experience: Prior experience teaching primary or elementary school children is preferred.
- Certifications: State or national teacher eligibility qualifications (e.g., TET) where mandated for public or private institutions.

- Communication & Patience: Ability to break down complex scientific concepts into simple, relatable language for young children.
- Creativity: Skill in using stories, visuals, everyday objects, and interactive media to make science engaging.
- Classroom Leadership: Strong behavior management and interpersonal skills to keep young students focused and enthusiastic.
- Organization: Time management for balancing lab setups, grading, and administrative tasks.
