Key Responsibilities:

1.

Production

Planning &

- Scheduling:

- Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on confirmed customer orders and project requirements.

- Prepare detailed production schedules considering delivery commitments, manpower availability, machine capacity, and material availability.

- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of manufacturing activities.

- Prioritize production jobs based on customer delivery schedules and project deadlines.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow and productivity.

2.

Material

Planning &

- Inventory Control:

- Prepare material requirement plans (MRP) based on approved BOMs and project specifications.

- Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores departments to ensure timely availability of electrical components and raw materials.

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability to avoid production delays.

- Track critical electrical components such as MCCBs, MCBs, ACBs, contactors, relays, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, cables, busbars, and other panel accessories.

- Identify material shortages, excess inventory, and procurement delays and take necessary corrective actions.

3.

Production

Coordination &

- Execution:

- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality, and Project departments for smooth execution of manufacturing activities.

- Ensure production activities are carried out as per approved GA drawings, SLDs, BOMs, and customer specifications.

- Monitor panel fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and dispatch readiness.

- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, tools, and other production resources.

- Follow up with production supervisors and team leaders to ensure adherence to planned schedules.

4.

Project

Monitoring &

- Delivery Management:

- Track the complete production status of multiple projects simultaneously.

- Monitor order execution against committed delivery timelines.





- Prepare project-wise production status reports and highlight delays or deviations.

- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve technical, material, and operational challenges.

- Ensure timely completion of projects and dispatch as per customer commitments.

5. MIS Reporting &

- Performance Monitoring:

- Prepare daily production reports, weekly progress reports, and monthly MIS reports.

- Monitor production efficiency, order status, material consumption, and delivery performance.

- Maintain production planning records, material tracking reports, and work-in-progress (WIP) reports.

- Analyze production delays and implement process improvement initiatives.

- Establish and monitor KPIs related to production efficiency, delivery performance, and inventory management.

Process

Improvement &

- Quality Coordination:

- Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce manufacturing lead time.

- Implement effective planning strategies to minimize material wastage and production downtime.

- Coordinate with the Quality Department to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives for better productivity and operational efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to company procedures and workplace safety standards.

Required Qualifications &

- Experience:

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 5-7 years of relevant experience in Production Planning &
- Control (PPC).

- Robust preference for candidates with experience in Electrical Control Panel Manufacturing or Industrial Automation.

- Hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, material planning, inventory control, and project coordination.

- Good understanding of electrical control panel manufacturing processes, including PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD, and LT Panels.

- Experience in BOM analysis, MRP, WIP tracking, and production documentation.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production reporting tools.

- Strong coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
