Strong SQL Skills:

The candidate must be strong in SQL and should have hands-on experience working with various DBMS systems, such as Oracle, DB2 for i, DB2 for z, DB2 LUW, SQL Server, etc. The candidate should be comfortable writing, understanding, and troubleshooting SQL queries across different database environments.

Data Warehousing Knowledge

The candidate should have an understanding of basic data warehousing architecture, particularly concepts related to Star Schemas and Snowflaking. Familiarity with how data is structured, organized, and accessed within a data warehouse environment is required.

Microfocus COBOL:

Knowledge of Microfocus COBOL in a Linux workplace would be helpful.



Experience working with COBOL applications in a Linux-based environment will be considered an added advantage.

Linux and ANT Tasks:

Basic Linux skills and prior experience using ANT tasks are helpful. However, these skills are not a necessity or requirement for the role. Candidates without this experience may still be considered if they meet the other core requirements.

NoSQL Databases:

Knowledge or experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Couchbase, would be a plus. However, this is not a necessity or requirement for the role and will be considered an additional advantage rather than a mandatory skill.
