1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Plastic Injection Moulding Design Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing plastic injection moulds for various plastic components. The candidate should have positive knowledge of mould design, plastic materials, injection moulding processes, and CAD software.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop plastic injection moulds based on customer requirements and product drawings.
- Prepare 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for mould components.
- Perform mould feasibility studies and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis.
- Understand and apply proper gate, runner, cooling channel, and ejection system designs.
- Select appropriate mould materials, inserts, and standard mould components.
- Design core, cavity, slider, lifter, and other mould mechanisms.
- Coordinate with production, tool room, quality, and manufacturing teams.




- Support mould trials and resolve mould-related issues.
- Optimize mould designs to improve cycle time, productivity, and component quality.
- Identify and resolve moulding defects such as:
- Flash
- Sink marks
- Short shots
- Warpage
- Weld lines
- Burn marks
- Prepare BOM, mould assembly drawings, and detailed component drawings.
- Support new product development (NPD) and engineering changes.

- UG NX / Siemens NX
- SolidWorks

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
