2.Planning

Micro planning based for each product at day level based on production plans.

Planning and validation of RM and PM requirement through system

Scheduling of RM and PM for production plan

Following up with operational purchase for timely availability of RM and PM

Meeting with operations and purchase teams

Planning captive requirement ensuring business requirements are met.

Campaign planning for multi-product plants along with HO planner.

Tracking new orders and giving commitment within 7 working days

Provide containers planning for export orders in system ensuring customer requirement, storage space at plant and vessel schedules.

Conduct capacity planning & bottleneck analysis to optimize plant utilization.

Participate in Supply Review/S&OE; process & provide plant planning inputs.

Identify supply risks arising from material shortages, capacity constraints or quality issues and drive mitigation plans.

Coordination with cross functional team - QC, R&D;, Plant, Commercial, Logistics, GBS, Purchase and other unit plant planners

Support recent product launches,



product transitions and commercialization through material readiness and production planning.

3. Systems

Drive end-to-end production and material planning through SAP IBP.

Ensuring updation of the master data related to capacity, campaign, BOM in SAP. s

Material code creation for FG, RM and PM

Need to know APO or should have prior experience of working with a planning tool.

Ensure PR accuracy from system 95%.

Planned order usage through SNP – 95%

Do weekly analysis of SNP output and take corrective actions.

Use APO reports for enriching analysis and provide key inputs to stakeholders.

4. Inventory Control

Drive reduction of excess, slow-moving and non-moving inventory while maintaining service levels.

Monitor and review inventory targets. Ensure timely escalation in case of any corrections required in plans.

Maintain inventory of RM & PM based on lead time; & storage space at plant.

5. Communication

Giving visibility to sales on status of order execution.

Ensuring RM/PM requirements. Giving container schedule to logistics

Plant MIS, Weekly morning meeting report.

Involvement in plant initiatives - TQM and Safety drive
