Role & responsibilities :

Plant Head BESS

Location: Nagpur

Role Purpose

Lead the end-to-end BESS manufacturing plant operations, including plant setup, production, quality, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, EHS, cost and people management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead greenfield plant setup, commissioning and operations.
- Manage BESS manufacturing, assembly, testing and production scale-up.
- Drive production planning, capacity utilization and on-time delivery.
- Ensure high standards of quality, reliability and battery safety.
- Manage engineering, maintenance, automation and equipment availability.
- Drive cost reduction, productivity, Lean/Kaizen and operational excellence.
- Ensure material availability, inventory control and supply-chain continuity.
- Lead new product introduction and manufacturing readiness.
- Build and develop a strong plant leadership and operations team.
- Coordinate with customers, project teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

- Proven experience as Plant Head / Factory Head / Operations Head.
- Strong experience in BESS / Lithium-ion Battery / EV Battery / Power Electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in greenfield plant setup and large-scale operations.
- Robust understanding of BMS, thermal management and electrical integration.
- Strong exposure to quality, EHS, cost management and manufacturing excellence.
- Excellent leadership and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

Preferred candidate profile Experience: 16–25 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech + MBA preferred

- Proven experience as Plant Head / Factory Head / Operations Head.
- Strong experience in BESS manufacturing.
