Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.

- Review prescriptions for correctness, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.

- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and precautions.

- Monitor patient responses to medications and provide recommendations to healthcare providers.

- Maintain patient medication records and ensure confidentiality.

- Manage inventory, procurement, storage, and disposal of medicines.

- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

- Provide health screenings, immunizations, and preventive healthcare services where authorized.

- Educate patients on disease management and healthy lifestyle practices.

- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm),



Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), or equivalent qualification.

- Valid pharmacist registration/licensure as required by the relevant regulatory authority.

- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmaceutical regulations.
