Key responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective lessons in Accountancy and Business Studies as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual academic plans, lesson plans and subject-wise teaching schedules.
- Explain accounting concepts, principles, procedures and financial statements with practical examples.
- Teach journal entries, ledger posting, trial balance, partnership accounts, company accounts and financial statement analysis.
- Explain business concepts, principles of management, marketing, finance and business environment.
- Use real-life business examples, case studies and practical applications to enhance student understanding.
- Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus.
- Integrate technology and digital resources into classroom teaching.
- Address individual learning needs through remedial teaching and additional academic support.
- Prepare question papers, assignments,



worksheets and practice tests in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
- Conduct periodic tests, unit tests, pre-board examinations and revision assessments.
- Evaluate answer scripts accurately and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:-

- Master's degree in Commerce / Accountancy / Finance or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Accountancy for Grades 11 & 12 is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of the relevant curriculum and board examination requirements.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
