Job Overview

PS Associates is seeking a technically skilled and customer-oriented Support Handholding Engineer for the Bastar Division. The candidate will be responsible for providing on-site IT support, assisting end users with technical difficulties, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and government e-governance systems across assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site technical support and handholding assistance to end users.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system and basic networking issues.
- Assist government employees in using IT applications, software and e-governance platforms.
- Provide user training and technical guidance whenever required.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of IT equipment at assigned locations.
- Maintain records of technical complaints, resolutions and pending issues.
- Coordinate with senior technical teams for escalation of complex issues.




- Prepare daily activity reports and maintain technical documentation.
- Travel across assigned government offices and locations within the Bastar Division for support activities.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant technical certifications will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Basic computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows Operating System and MS Office.
- Desktop, laptop and printer installation and maintenance.
- Basic networking, LAN and internet connectivity.
- Strong communication and end-user management skills.
- Problem-solving and reporting abilities.
- Willingness to travel across the Bastar Division.

Experience

- 0–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support or technical assistance.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
