My Milestones was founded in year 2016 as a contemporary Baby, Kids apparel and accessories brand specialising in clothing, accessories and gifting options. Our core philosophy is rooted in 100% cotton products, with a strong focus on natural fibres, quality, comfort, functionality and distinctive design. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented and technology-savvy Junior Fashion Designer to join our design team.

Job Summary:

As a fashion designer specializing in baby and kids garments and accessries, you will be responsible for creating innovative, stylish, and age-appropriate designs for clothing and accessory products targeted at infants, toddlers, and children. This role involves understanding the unique needs and preferences of the target audience, keeping up with the latest trends, and working closely with cross-functional teams to bring the designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior designer in developing seasonal collections, mood boards, colour stories and design concepts.

- Research fashion trends, silhouettes, prints, fabrics and global kidswear trends.

- Create technical flats, design sheets, print artworks and detailed tech packs.

- Support product development across babywear,kidswear and accessories categories.

- Coordinate with sampling team, pattern masters, sourcing and production.

- Review samples and ensure accuracy in design details, fit and finishing.

- Assist in range planning, SKU development and collection presentations.

- Maintain design documentation and ensure timely execution of assigned styles.

Skills & Qualifications:





- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or a related discipline.

- 2–4 years (for Fashion Designer) and 5+ years (for Senior Designer) of industry experience in apparel design, preferably in babywear or kidswear.

- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Good understanding of fabrics, prints, trims, embroidery and garment construction.

- Solid technical drawing, colour coordination and design presentation skills.

- Working knowledge of ChatGPT and Google Gemini is a must.

- Ability to leverage AI tools for design research, creative ideation, mood boards and design

development. Familiarity with other AI image-generation and creative tools will be an added advantage.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.

Design Assessment:

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a small practical design assignment as part of the selection process. This will assess creative ability, technical skills, product understanding, originality and application of AI tools.
