Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Compliance & Safety Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in product safety, regulatory compliance, and certification of electrical and electronic products. The role involves independently leading compliance assessments, safety-critical design reviews, certification activities, field evaluations, and global regulatory initiatives to ensure products meet international safety, EMC, and market-access requirements. The candidate will work closely with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs,



and external certification bodies while driving compliance strategy, risk mitigation, and regulatory approvals throughout the product lifecycle

Essential Skills:

- Experience in Product Safety, Product Compliance, and Regulatory Engineering for electrical and electronic products.
- Strong knowledge of IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010, IEC 60601, EMC requirements, and global regulatory standards.
- Hands-on experience in product compliance assessments, standards interpretation, gap analysis, certification, and Field Evaluation activities.
- Expertise in reviewing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, safety-critical components, grounding, insulation, and protection systems.
- Experience in safety testing, compliance verification, certification support, and regulatory documentation management.
- Familiarity with CE, UKCA, UL/NRTL, CSA, FDA, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 requirements.
- Experience working with external testing laboratories, certification bodies, NRTLs, and global regulatory stakeholders.
- Strong capability in non-conformity resolution, CAPA, audit support, engineering changes, and compliance risk management.
- Ability to independently drive compliance programs and collaborate with global Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and technical documentation skills
