JOB DESCRIPTION – CNC SETTER

Job Purpose

To set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring accurate machining, product quality, and achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform CNC machine setting, tool setting, and offset adjustments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure production quality.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and dimensional checks.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining-related issues.
- Maintain machine efficiency and minimize rejection.
- Follow safety procedures and 5S practices.





Required Skills

- Knowledge of CNC machine setting and operations.
- Basic knowledge of G-Codes and M-Codes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Qualification

- 2–5 years of relevant CNC setting experience.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
