Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pattern Design & Development Engineer for our Foundry (Sand Casting) division. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of pattern design, pattern development, and casting processes, along with the ability to independently handle New Product Development (NPD) activities from initial design to final production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop patterns for sand casting components as per customer requirements and technical specifications.
2. Handle complete New Product Development (NPD) activities, from initial concept and drawing review to final production.
3. Prepare and review pattern drawings, 2D and 3D models.
4. Ensure proper allowances for shrinkage, machining, draft angles, and other casting requirements in pattern design.
5. Coordinate with the production, quality, and foundry teams for successful product development.
6. Identify and resolve pattern-related and casting design issues.

Monitor pattern manufacturing, modification, and inspection activities.
8. Ensure cost-effective pattern design and continuous improvement in product quality.
9. Handle customer drawings, technical discussions, and product feasibility assessments.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Pattern Design and Foundry Sand Casting.
- Strong knowledge of pattern design, development, and casting technology.
- Good understanding of casting drawings, 2D/3D modelling, and engineering specifications.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks or other relevant design software.
- Practical experience in New Product Development (NPD).
- Ability to independently manage pattern shop activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation

CTC: Up to ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and technical expertise.
